Kincardine's Walker House Museum fund-raising campaign under way
The Walker House Museum in downtown Kincardine has had a very successful year, fully open to the public and offering upgraded and newly-developed permanent exhibits and many events for the community to enjoy.
The facility dates back to 1850 and is Kincardine’s home for local history and fascinating artifacts depicting early life in the community. It is open to the public, weekly, from Thursday through Sunday, and locals and visitors are welcome to tour the building and step back into the past.
The helpful staff is on hand to help you enjoy your experience.

- Numerous speaker events, featuring professionals, historian and experts
- Art classes and the launch of a community art show, “Shaped by the Shore”
- Musical concerts, featuring talented local musicians
- Weekly Sunday afternoon Victorian Teas
- Updated and new permanent exhibits

As a registered charity, the museum depends on donations from the community in order to survive and cover operating expenses. In order to continue offering many interesting and engaging events and exhibits, the Walker House needs yours support.
