DONALD "DON" McKAY

Donald "Don" McKay of Bowmanville, formerly of the Kincardine area, died peacefully, March 17, 2026, with his daughters by his side, at the age of 67. Loving father of Kiersten (Stuart) and Korey (Riley). Cherished grandfather of Walker and Briar, and grandpaw of Remy. Predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Clifford McKay. The youngest of six, Don will be lovingly remembered by his five older siblings, and dearly missed by his many friends. Don worked at Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for more than 30 years before spending the last decade in retirement. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humour, deep generosity, and love for his daughters. Don lived life to the fullest. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life, Friday, April 10, 2026, from 1-3 p.m., at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, with a eulogy read by his daughters at 2:15 p.m. Reception to follow.
